IJN Carrier Taiyo 1/700 Kit
A converted passenger
liner, the first-in-class Taiyo escort carrier sailed with the battleship
Yamato in a supporting role for the Eastern Solomons engagement in August,

Japanese Battleship Nagato 1/350 Kit with Yamamoto figure
The lead ship of her
class and the first battleship in the world to mount 16" guns, the Nagato
served as the Imperial Japanese Navy Combined Fleet flagship of Admiral
