Soviet SU-100 Tank Destroyer 1/72 Kit
Designed as an improvement to the SU-85 tank,
the SU-100 - which could destroy Germany's heaviest tanks from distances of
up to 1¼ miles - appeared in the final year of World War II and played a key
role when the Soviets defeated the German Operation Frülingserwachen
offensive at Lake Balaton in March, 1945. This 1/72 scale plastic kit
features a one-piece hull and fighting compartment for easy assembly, a
finely molded D-10S 100mm gun barrel, a realistic mantlet with bolt head
details, hatches that can be modeled opened or closed, one-piece DS tracks,
photo-etched detail parts such as engine deck grilles and air intake
louvers, fuel tanks, a choice of markings, and more. Measures 5" long;
